The honest answer first: the perfume that suits you follows from four things – how you want to come across, how you dress, the occasions you wear scent for, and the fragrance directions you love or avoid. A good quiz can map all of that in about three minutes. At IDENTÉ, though, the quiz does not end with a product match. It ends with a formula that did not exist before you answered.

Which scent family feels like you?

Most people are at home in one or two fragrance families. Knowing yours makes every scent decision easier – at a counter or in a quiz. The main directions:

• Fresh and citrus: bright, awake, uncluttered. Lightness worn as an attitude.
• Floral: from delicate to opulent – the largest family in perfumery. Soft, romantic, close.
• Woody: warmth and calm. Grounded, quietly confident, often surprisingly modern.
• Spicy and ambery: present, sensual, deep. The classic evening register.
• Green and aromatic: leaves, herbs, the air after rain. Natural and clear.
• Gourmand: edible warmth like vanilla or cocoa. Worn close to the skin, close to memory.

But a scent family is a direction, not a result. Two people who tick “woody” almost never want the same perfume.

Why does every perfume quiz stop one step short?

Because it works in one direction only: your answers are matched against finished perfumes, and you are recommended the closest bottle on a shelf. Better than guessing – still a compromise. That bottle was composed for a market, not for you.

IDENTÉ reverses the direction. Your answers are not compared with products; they are translated into a recipe. There is no shelf. There is a formula, composed from your profile, that exists exactly once.

How does the quiz work?

The quiz asks eight questions and takes about three minutes – free and without obligation. You see your scent profile and your complete formula before you buy anything, not after. The questions cover five themes:

• Impression: how you want to be perceived when you enter a room.
• Style: how you dress and move – the scent should belong to it, not fight it.
• Occasion: daily life, work, evenings – what your perfume is composed for.
• Intensity: a quiet presence or a clear trace. Your answer sets the oil concentration: 20 to 25 percent.
• Directions and dislikes: what may go in – and what must stay out.

What makes the formula yours alone?

From a library of 60 notes, 13 to 15 are selected for you and set as top, heart, and base – each with its own weight. The result is not a product suggestion; it is an individual recipe. The technology composes backstage; the bottling is done by hand.

And you do not have to take that on faith. The complete formula is printed on the label: 70 × 70 mm, with your first name, your profile, every note with its weight, the concentration, the filling date, and a unique batch number. The QR code on it leads to an authenticity check.

What arrives at your door?

Your personal perfume is an Extrait de Parfum: 50 ml at 20–25% fragrance oil, for €79. It is made only after you order and filled by hand in Germany – 3 to 5 working days of production, plus 1 to 2 days of shipping within Germany, free of charge.

Every formula is 100% vegan and cruelty free. If you want more than one facet, the Trio of three bottles is €199. And if the scent does not sit right: you have 30 days from delivery to return it for a full refund – or we adjust your formula together first, if you prefer.
